For this playdate we are going to upcycle our box into a basil and tomato garden! This also gives the box sustained use. Once the tomatoes start to grow you’ll be able to make a delicious caprese salad whenever you want! This is also super fun for your kids to help plant and watch their efforts grow into something that you can then actually eat!
Step 1: Take empty box and fill with soil just above circle
Step 2: Add basil plant + tomato plant
Step 3: Add more soil and fill to top
Step 4: Slowly water (to make sure it doesn’t overflow)
Step 5: Water daily and watch it grow (so fun with the kids)!
